Details of the Job/Internship

Turtle Limited is hiring a Legal Executive with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in Howrah. The role involves drafting legal agreements such as franchisee and dealer contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s legal rights are protected.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft legal agreements, including franchisee and dealer contracts, and other legal documents.
• Provide accurate and timely legal counsel to executives on various legal matters.
• Collaborate with the legal team to devise efficient legal defence strategies.
• Assist the Legal Manager in litigation matters as and when required.
• Work closely with the Legal Manager to regularly monitor compliance.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties such as regulators, external counsel, and public authorities.
• Maintain updated knowledge of changes in legislation.
• Handle matters relating to trademark protection, registration, and cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Eligibility

• Proven experience as a legal professional in the retail or manufacturing industry with 4–5 years of experience.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• Strong skills in legal drafting and commercial contract management, particularly franchisee agreements.
• Sound judgement and the ability to analyse situations and information effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• BA and LL.B. degree is mandatory.

Salary/Stipend
