Vardhman Trusteeship Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Executive for Legal & Compliance in its Trusteeship Services department. The role involves handling legal and compliance matters for debenture, security, and AIF transactions, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting clients and internal teams effectively.
Role and Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and law firms.
- Draft and vet transaction documents for secured and unsecured borrowings of corporate clients.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI Debenture Trustee Regulations, LODR, IRDS, and related laws.
- Confirm execution and closure of transaction and security documents.
- Monitor Conditions Precedent and Conditions Subsequent as per transaction documents.
- Safely deposit transaction and title documents; issue Custody Confirmation Letters.
- Verify valid creation of charges as per transaction documents.
- Monitor charged securities and compliance with financial covenants.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliances and provide updates to teams and clients.
- Ensure prompt and timely client servicing.
- Willingness to learn and acquire product knowledge.
- Maintain good communication with internal teams and clients.
