Details of the Job/Internship

Vertoz is hiring a Legal Executive with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Mulund, Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to senior management and departments on various legal issues.
• Assess legal implications of business strategies and projects.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a range of contracts including MSAs, NDAs, licensing and rent agreements, shareholder agreements, etc.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards.
• Manage and coordinate litigation and dispute resolution processes, including arbitration and mediation.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and governance standards.
• Maintain and review internal policies for legal compliance.
• Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, reports, and opinions.
• Stay updated on legal developments and industry practices.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law) from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
• Experience handling complex commercial and corporate legal matters.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, IP law, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Corporate experience is mandatory.
