SME Careers is hiring a Legal AI Content Reviewer with experience of 5+ years to join their remote contractor team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated legal analyses and expert legal content.
- Assess accuracy, clarity, and adherence to prompts.
- Identify errors in legal methodology and doctrine.
- Fact-check legal rules, citations, and reasoning.
- Develop AI training prompts and high-quality model responses.
- Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve accuracy and contextual relevance.
- Test AI models for potential inaccuracies or bias.
- Ensure reliability of outputs across different use cases.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Legal Studies, Public Policy, or Political Science.
- Strong grounding in Constitutional Law, Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, and Regulatory or Administrative Law.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in law or related fields.
- Strong legal reasoning and issue-spotting skills.
- Fluency in compliance concepts, rights and obligations analysis, and policy frameworks.
- Exceptional attention to detail in checking rules, citations, jurisdiction, and logic.
- Minimum C1 level English proficiency.
- Ability to write clear, structured feedback without unnecessary verbosity.
- Self-directed and reliable in a remote, hourly contractor workflow.
- Previous experience in AI data training, annotation, legal editing, or QA is preferred.
