Details of the Job/Internship

MoveInSync is hiring a Legal Head with 8–10 years of experience, including 2–4 years in a startup environment, to lead their legal, compliance, and contractual functions. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee all legal matters including corporate governance, contracts, IP, employment, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Advise leadership on strategic decisions, risk mitigation, and regulatory developments.
• Manage corporate secretarial compliance including Board meetings, ROC filings, and ESOPs.
• Liaise with external counsel for litigation, IP filings, due diligence, and M&A transactions.
• Maintain compliance frameworks under the Companies Act, IT Act, labour laws, FEMA, and data protection norms.
• Support fundraising and investment activities including negotiation of term sheets, SHAs, and SSAs.
• Develop internal policies on privacy, ethics, and anti-bribery.

Eligibility

• LLB degree from a reputed university; CS qualification is a plus.
• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience with exposure to startups or technology sectors.
• Minimum 2–4 years of startup experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and contract law.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
