Details of the Job/Internship

Veena Developers is hiring a Legal Head – Litigation with experience of 10+ years to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and track all civil, criminal, consumer, RERA, NCLT, arbitration, municipal, revenue, and High Court cases.
• Coordinate, brief, and monitor external advocates to ensure timely and effective case handling without adjournments due to company delays.
• Draft, send, and respond to legal notices relating to builder-buyer disputes, vendor claims, recovery, and reputation matters.
• Handle RERA and consumer complaints, including possession delays, compensation claims, and settlement strategies.
• Resolve land, title, possession, encroachment, easement, and ownership disputes.
• Liaise with police and authorities for complaints, FIR/NC guidance, and protection against threats or illegal interference.
• Lead out-of-court settlements and recovery actions to minimize prolonged litigation.
• Advise management on litigation risks and legal exposure in projects.
• Maintain daily MIS, reporting, case trackers, and performance metrics for management review.
