Details of the Job/Internship

EaseMyTrip is hiring a Legal Head to lead their legal department from the Noida office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to the leadership team on all corporate and operational matters.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable Indian and international laws and regulations.
• Prepare, review, and finalize complex legal documents, including commercial contracts and vendor agreements.
• Manage and resolve multifaceted legal issues, including consumer disputes and intellectual property matters.
• Liaise with and oversee the performance of external legal counsel for specialized litigation.
• Develop and implement internal legal frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead the organization’s risk management initiatives to identify and mitigate potential legal liabilities.
• Oversee corporate governance practices to ensure transparency and statutory adherence.
• Support strategic business goals through effective legal consulting and negotiation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or LLM) from a recognized university.
• Proven experience in a senior legal role, specifically in legal consulting and handling corporate legal issues.
• Deep expertise in legal compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing high-stakes legal documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Preferred: Prior experience in the travel industry or a high-growth e-commerce environment.
