Details of the Job/Internship

Oraiyan Groups is hiring a Legal Head with 8–15 years of experience to join their office in Jayanagar, Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee title verification, land records review, encumbrance checks, and legal due diligence for land acquisition and property transactions.
• Draft, vet, and negotiate real estate agreements such as Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, JDAs, MOUs, Power of Attorney, and Construction Contracts.
• Represent the company or coordinate with external counsel in property-related litigation.
• Ensure compliance with laws such as RERA, Transfer of Property Act, Contract Act, and Registration Act.
• Coordinate with government authorities for legal clearances and approvals.
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
• Advise senior management on legal strategy and developments.
• Lead a legal team and manage external legal advisors.

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognized university.
• 8–15 years of experience in the legal function within the real estate sector.
• In-depth knowledge of property law, land acquisition, RERA, and contract law.
• Experience in legal due diligence and large-scale property transactions.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation software.
• Kannada language is mandatory.

Salary/Stipend
