Details of the Job/Internship

Synectics Inc. is hiring a Legal Head – Real Estate with over 20 years of legal experience to lead its legal team in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions, including acquisition, leasing, joint ventures, and development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and licenses related to property and construction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in real estate and construction sectors.
• Conduct due diligence and title verification for property acquisitions.
• Manage litigation related to property, regulatory, and contractual issues.
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Advise management on legal risk and mitigation strategies.
• Develop internal legal policies and ensure implementation.
• Stay updated with legal developments in real estate.
• Conduct legal training for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project, operations, and finance teams.

Eligibility

• Law degree (LL.B) from a recognized university; LLM in real estate law preferred.
• 20+ years of legal experience with a strong focus on real estate.
• In-depth understanding of property, zoning, and environmental laws.
• Experience in handling complex transactions and litigation.
