Details of the Job/Internship

UK Realty is hiring a Head – Legal (HOD – Legal Department) with experience of 12–20+ years to join their office in Andheri (W), Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead litigation strategy across High Court, Supreme Court, civil, revenue, regulatory and tribunal forums.
• Handle title, possession, tenant, society, redevelopment, injunction, and specific performance disputes.
• Draft pleadings, appeals, replies, and manage litigation tracking and cost control.
• Draft, vet, and structure development agreements, conveyance deeds, redevelopment agreements, JV agreements, construction contracts, escrow agreements, and related documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive title due diligence, including verification of revenue and municipal records.
• Manage SRA, redevelopment, society, deemed conveyance, and transit rent disputes.
• Ensure compliance under RERA, MOFA, MRTP, Co-operative Societies Act, Stamp Act, Registration Act, and other applicable laws.
• Lead RERA registrations, compliance audits, and regulatory responses.
• Build and manage the internal legal team and monitor external counsel performance.
• Provide strategic inputs in land negotiations, funding documentation, and dispute settlements.

Eligibility

• LLB (mandatory).
• LLM preferred; CS qualification is an advantage.
• 12–20+ years of experience in real estate legal practice.
• Mandatory exposure to the Mumbai real estate market.
• Strong experience in land litigation, SRA projects, society redevelopment, title due diligence, and high-value documentation.
• Deep knowledge of property and revenue laws with court handling experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
