Details of the Job/Internship

Vontier is hiring a Legal In-House Counsel with 7-12 years of experience to join their legal and compliance team in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including tenders, CAMC, SLAs, product/service contracts, confidentiality, and master services agreements.
• Provide commercial advice on compliance, business risks, and geographic considerations.
• Collaborate to develop policies and controls for anti-bribery and anti-corruption risk management.
• Manage workflows and diligence requirements to support enterprise goals.
• Assist in developing RFP, bid processes, policies, and related documents.
• Conduct legal research on applicable legislation and legal issues.
• Provide training on legal and compliance matters.
• Manage litigation with external counsels.
• Implement third-party business integrity programs including screening and monitoring.
• Assist with internal investigations and prepare reports on findings.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer from a reputed Indian law school.
• 7-12 years of relevant experience including law firm and in-house roles, preferably in a global company.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
