Details of the Job/Internship
Kanopi Law is offering a full-time, hybrid internship for the month of May 2026 (01/05/2026 - 31/05/2026).
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research and drafting focused on Trademarks, Copyright, and Designs.
- Assist in the review and formulation of comprehensive intellectual property strategies.
- Support the firm in trademark and patent prosecution, as well as copyright matters.
- Participate in brand protection initiatives and IP enforcement efforts.
- Analyze technology contracts and licensing agreements to identify legal implications.
- Help ensure business compliance with data protection and advertising law frameworks.
- Assist in the preparation of filings and documentation for official IP portals.
- Coordinate with team members on time-sensitive tasks and research-heavy projects.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing a degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Solid understanding of IP principles (not surface-level) and Trademark & Copyright Law.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting specifically for IP matters.
- Strong analytical skills for contract review and identifying regulatory risks.
- Knowledge of Trademark filing processes is considered a significant plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Genuine curiosity and a proactive approach to learning in a boutique firm environment.
