Details of the Job/Internship

HyperVerge is hiring a Legal Intern – In-House Counsel (JD) for a full-time, in-person internship in Bengaluru for a duration of 6 months. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on AI governance, data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), and IP issues.
• Track global regulatory updates affecting SaaS, fintech, and AI.
• Assist in reviewing and managing NDAs, MSAs, and SaaS contracts.
• Support internal compliance, audits, and risk assessments.
• Help align internal processes with DPDPA, GDPR, and other laws.
• Contribute to strategic legal initiatives and handle legal documentation.

Eligibility

• Fourth or final year of BA.LLB/BBA.LLB/LLM from a reputed law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Interest in tech law, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and collaborative tools.
• Prior experience with corporate legal teams or exposure to technology contracts is preferred.

Salary/Stipend

INR 25,000/month (stipend)
