Details of the Job/Internship

Gondane and Sonthalia Partners LLP is hiring a Legal Intern (Corporate & IP) with experience of to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves working closely with associates and partners by assisting in drafting MOUs, commercial contracts, and transactional documents, managing trademark and copyright databases, supporting filings, conducting legal research for advisory notes, assisting in compliance audits, and maintaining digital files using technology-enabled tools for case management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting MOUs, commercial contracts, and transactional documents.
• Support management of trademark and copyright databases and preparation of filings.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and support compliance audits.
• Maintain digital files and utilise technology tools to streamline practice operations.

Eligibility

• Current 4th or 5th-year students in a 5-year LL.B. programme, or 2nd/3rd-year students in a 3-year programme.
• Digital-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Foundational knowledge of corporate and intellectual property law.
• Strong writing skills.
