Details of the Job/Internship
HyperVerge is hiring a full-time, paid Legal Intern (In-House Counsel) for a 6-month in-person internship in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on AI governance, data protection (GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA), intellectual property, and tech regulations.
- Track global regulatory changes impacting SaaS, fintech, and AI.
- Assist in reviewing, redlining, and managing NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, and partnership contracts.
- Maintain organized contract repositories, version control, and renewals.
- Support compliance audits, risk assessments, privacy initiatives, and internal process alignment with data laws.
- Prepare documentation for licensing, governance, and international business.
- Participate in strategic legal projects, manage knowledge bases, and lead ad hoc assignments.
Eligibility
- Fourth or final year of BA.LLB/BBA.LLB/LLM from a recognized law school.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Interest in technology law, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Notion, or similar tools.
- Prior corporate law firm or in-house internship, or experience with tech contracts/data/IP, is preferred.
Salary/Stipend
₹25,000 per month stipend.
