Details of the Job/Internship
RB Lawcorp Pvt Ltd is hiring Legal Interns – Indirect Taxation to join its Indirect Tax Litigation and Advisory team for its Noida and Dehradun offices. This internship is for a duration of 60 to 90 days, with 5 to 6 positions available, and offers exposure to indirect tax litigation and advisory work.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and preparing replies to show cause notices and legal submissions.
- Support in preparing tax appeals and legal documents for filing before authorities and courts.
- Assist seniors during tribunal and court appearances by preparing briefs and case files.
- Stay updated on developments in tax laws, case laws, and legal procedures.
- Contribute to knowledge initiatives including case law digests, litigation meetings, and article writing.
- Support drafting of replies, appeals, and representations under supervision.
- Handle assigned client matters with increasing responsibility for smaller assignments.
- Coordinate with internal teams and contribute to ongoing projects efficiently.
- Participate in firm-wide learning activities and stay updated on industry and legal developments.
- Demonstrate initiative in adding value to client assignments and internal tasks.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing L.L.B. or B.A. L.L.B.
- Understanding of tax laws and legal procedures.
- Strong research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
