Details of the Job/Internship
Driffle is hiring a Legal Intern – Payments & Compliance to join their office in Gurugram. The role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented law student or recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in the legal and regulatory aspects of digital payments, e-commerce operations, and cross-border compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Research laws and regulations related to payments, data privacy (e.g., GDPR), anti-money laundering (AML), and e-commerce.
- Support drafting and reviewing of internal policies, terms and conditions, and compliance-related documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date records of licenses, filings, and regulatory submissions across jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support legal and compliance checks for new payment integrations, features, or risk assessments.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Provide general support to the Payments team as needed.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Interest in payments law, fintech, e-commerce, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Previous internship experience in a legal or compliance role is a plus.
