Details of the Job/Internship

Thakran Legal is offering a long-term legal internship focused on legal research, providing law students with valuable exposure to real-world legal practice in a hybrid format.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Summarize legal findings in concise memoranda.
• Assist in drafting legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
• Support attorneys in case preparation.
• Attend court proceedings as required.
• Maintain well-organized records of research and findings.
• Fulfill other tasks as assigned.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
• Preferably in the 2nd or 3rd year of a 5-year LL.B. program or the 1st or 2nd year of a 3-year LL.B. program.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in legal research databases such as Manupatra, Westlaw India, and SCC Online.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
