42Gears is hiring a Legal Associate – Fresher to support its legal and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring compliance with global privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Support drafting and reviewing privacy policies, data processing agreements, and internal procedures.
- Conduct research and internal audits on privacy-related developments in the SaaS industry.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS agreements, NDAs, and other contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal compliance in contracts.
- Manage and organize legal documentation and contract repositories.
- Research regulations related to cybersecurity, e-commerce, and intellectual property laws.
- Support implementation of compliance programs and staff training.
- Assist with corporate filings, legal entity management, and record maintenance.
- Support due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
- Conduct legal research on IP, employment law, and international regulations.
- Assist in developing internal legal policies and procedures.
Eligibility
- Recent law graduate.
- Strong interest in technology, SaaS, and privacy laws.
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and data protection laws is preferred.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
