Details of the Job/Internship

42Gears is inviting law students to join their office in Bnegaluru in hybrid mode.

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive legal research and deliver well-reasoned analysis to support decision-making on matters related to compliance, regulatory issues, and contracts.
• Administrative Support: Provide reliable administrative assistance, including document handling, filing, and supporting legal workflow coordination.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to collect relevant information and contribute meaningfully to cross-functional legal and compliance projects.
• Meeting Participation: Attend internal and external meetings, document detailed minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure accountability and progress.
• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Maintain and update the CLM tool to ensure accurate tracking of contracts through all stages of their lifecycle.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong time management and organizational capabilities to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
• Adaptability: Exhibit a proactive attitude with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new legal technologies, internal processes, and changes in the regulatory landscape.

Eligibility

• Final-year law student (5th year of a 5-year integrated program) or recent graduate in law.
• Solid foundational understanding of in-house legal operations and corporate law, particularly in areas such as contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Prior internship experience in corporate legal departments or in-house legal teams.
• Basic knowledge of contract law, company law, and compliance standards.
