Details of the Job/Internship
Abhi Incubation Fund is hiring a Legal Intern for a 3-month internship to support Angel Fund regulatory and documentation work. The intern will assist the investment, compliance and legal teams as the organisation transitions under the revised SEBI Angel Fund Regulations (2025). Additional details include reviewing due diligence processes, updating regulatory documents and assisting with compliance tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and update the legal due diligence framework for startup investments.
- Assist in redrafting Contribution Agreements in line with revised SEBI norms.
- Support updates to the PPM, allocation methodology and internal fund governance documents.
- Conduct research on SEBI AIF Regulations, Angel Fund circulars and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with portfolio founders regarding documentation and regulatory checks.
- Assist in maintaining legal records, transaction files and investor documentation.
Eligibility
- Students from law schools.
- Strong interest in securities law, venture capital, startup funding and AIF regulations.
- Excellent research, drafting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
