Details of the Job/Internship
AISATS is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves supporting the Legal Department in administrative functions and backend operations while gaining hands-on exposure to legal processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update legal databases, tracking systems, and case management tools.
- Prepare minutes of legal meetings, follow-up action points, and maintain internal trackers.
- Organize and manage legal documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties for document submissions, status updates, and follow-ups.
- Assist in conducting legal research and analysis on cases, statutes, and regulations.
- Provide administrative support, including drafting routine legal communications, preparing case summaries, and handling tasks assigned by senior legal staff.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a law degree program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from a recognized institution.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and departments.
