Details of the Job/Internship
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is hiring a Legal Intern to support the Players’ Status and Registration Department, reporting to the Head of PSRD.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the Secretariat with Disciplinary Committee and Player Status Committee proceedings.
- Record minutes of departmental and committee meetings.
- Draft notices and replies to requests and complaints related to players, clubs, and member associations.
- Assist in drafting the new AIFF Agents Regulations.
- Track age-fraud related issues and report them to the department.
- Monitor matches and tournaments on the AIFF CMS and report disciplinary matters to the Secretary.
- Support handling of disputes involving players, clubs, officials, and registered intermediaries.
Eligibility
- Recent LL.B. graduate with first-class distinction.
- Prior exposure to sports law is preferable but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of sports, especially football.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
- Physically fit for domestic travel as required.
