Details of the Job/Internship

Barowalia & Associates is hiring a Legal Intern for an on-site internship at their office in Shimla. The internship will be for a duration of 30 days from 15-05-2026 to 15-06-2026 and involves assisting associates with legal research, drafting legal documents, analysing legal issues, and supporting litigation-related work.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist associates in legal research and case preparation.
• Conduct research on case laws, statutes, and legal precedents.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and court filings.
• Analyse legal issues related to ongoing cases.
• Prepare briefs, case summaries, and legal opinions.
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and legal publications as required by the firm.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing an LL.B. degree from a UGC and BCI recognised university.
• Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Manupatra and SCC Online.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Keen interest in litigation and willingness to learn.
