Details of the Job/Internship
BookMyChef is looking for a Legal Intern to assist them with various tasks, including research, document preparation, and administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for law students to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Role and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contract Management & Coordination.
- Service Partner Advocacy & Protection.
- Background Verification (BGV) Compliance.
- HR & Talent Agreements.
- Regulatory Compliance Support.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping.
General Legal Support:
- Conduct research on various legal topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations
- Assist the legal team with document preparation, including drafting agreements, proposals, and other legal documents.
- Organize and maintain files, both physical and electronic
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as needed
- Assist with data entry and other tasks related to case management & document handling
- Participate in client meetings & prepare compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the firms/client's goals, objectives, and priorities.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in law school.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Completion of at least one year of law school.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting.
- Familiarity with document management systems and other legal software.
