Details of the Job/Internship
CleverTap is hiring a Legal Intern for a 6-month internship (extendable up to 12 months) to support the in-house legal and contracting function.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review legal documents, commercial contracts, vendor papers, and customer agreements.
- Analyze Statements of Work (SOWs), Order Forms, MSAs, NDAs, and related legal documents.
- Conduct legal research on contract terms, risk assessment, and compliance requirements.
- Provide redlines and recommendations for contract terms.
- Support the legal team in revising SaaS subscription terms, liability clauses, data privacy terms, and termination clauses.
- Maintain and update legal templates, documentation, and contract repository.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing a Law degree (LLB/BA LLB/BBA LLB) in 4th or final year of a 5-year program or 2nd/final year of a 3-year program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good to Have: Exposure to drafting/interpreting contracts, especially SaaS/Technology/IT service contracts.
