Details of the Job/Internship
Clinikally is hiring a Legal Intern to join its team at Sector 44, Gurgaon. The role involves supporting end-to-end legal documentation, corporate and startup legal matters, pharmaceutical and healthcare compliance, regulatory due diligence, and legal research in a fast-paced startup environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting in end-to-end execution of legal documentation, including drafting, review, negotiation support, execution, record management, and post-execution compliance.
- Supporting preparation and maintenance of agreements, contracts, policies, statutory records, and compliance documentation.
- Ensuring documentation aligns with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Assisting in corporate governance, secretarial compliance, commercial contracting, and startup-related legal matters including structuring, shareholder arrangements, fundraising, ESOP frameworks, and exit documentation.
- Supporting legal due diligence for investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic transactions.
- Assisting with pharmaceutical and healthcare legal compliance, including licensing, regulatory approvals, marketing practices, distribution, labeling, and lifecycle compliance monitoring.
- Tracking regulatory changes impacting pharmaceutical operations.
- Supporting compliance management, regulatory filings, disclosures, audits, and preparation of due diligence reports.
- Conducting legal research and preparing briefs, compliance notes, issue trackers, and advisory memoranda.
- Coordinating with internal teams, external counsel, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintaining legal repositories, trackers, and compliance calendars while ensuring confidentiality and professional standards.
Eligibility
- 4th or 5th year law student from a reputed institute.
- Strong understanding of Contract Law, Corporate Law, and related subjects.
- Interest in startup, healthcare, and regulatory law.
- CS qualification, completed or pursuing, is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
