Details of the Job/Internship
Collective Artists Network is hiring a Legal Intern for a 3-month internship in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and execute agreements.
- Conduct legal research on statutory developments, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks in media and entertainment law.
- Assist with internal legal compliance and contract management.
- Maintain legal databases and trackers.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing a law degree (3rd Year and above for 5-year course or 2nd Year and above for 3-year LL.B.).
- Prior internship or work experience in the media and entertainment sector is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, copyright law, IP rights, and principles relevant to film, music, digital media, and endorsements.
- Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail and structure.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., SCC Online, Manupatra, LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Must be based in Mumbai (office-based role).
