Details of the Job/Internship
Digitys India is seeking a Legal Intern – Corporate & Commercial Law to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support review, coordination, and management of client-facing contracts including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and amendments.
- Liaise with global legal counsels in India and the US on drafting, redlines, and execution workflows.
- Identify contractual risks, deviations, and compliance gaps for escalation.
- Maintain contract trackers, execution status, and renewal calendars.
- Assist with drafting and managing vendor and third-party agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance and documentation requirements.
- Support employment-related legal documentation including contracts, policies, and exit documents.
- Assist with compliance under Indian labour and employment laws.
- Support corporate law compliance, filings, statutory registers, and audit documentation.
- Maintain legal repositories, trackers, summaries, and dashboards.
- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and employment law matters.
Eligibility
- Law student (LLB / BA LLB / BBA LLB) or recent graduate.
- Foundational knowledge of contracts, corporate law, and employment law.
- Strong drafting skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a structured environment.
- Comfort with occasional US time-zone calls.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and document management tools.
