Details of the Job/Internship

Dolat Capital Market Pvt. Ltd. is inviting law students to join their office in Mumbai.

• Duration: 6 Months

Role and Responsibilities

1. Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements including service contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and commercial documents.
• Ensure all contracts align with internal policies and applicable legal standards.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Monitor updates in corporate, labor, and data protection laws.
• Assist with statutory filings and maintain compliance documentation.

3. Litigation Support

• Coordinate with external counsel on ongoing litigation.
• Prepare briefs, manage legal documentation, and support court filings and responses.

4. Legal Research & Advisory

• Conduct in-depth research on corporate laws, regulatory changes, and judicial developments.
• Provide actionable legal insights to internal teams.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with HR, Finance, and Operations to support legal review of internal policies, employment matters, and governance issues.

6. Risk & Audit Support

• Assist in internal legal audits and help identify potential legal risks.
• Support enhancements to risk mitigation and compliance processes.

7. Training & Documentation

• Help organize internal training on legal/compliance topics.
• Maintain and update a centralized legal document repository.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Prior internship or 1 year of experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance roles preferred (Freshers are welcome to apply).
• Strong grasp of Indian corporate, labor, and regulatory laws.
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
