Details of the Job/Internship
Insurance Europe is hiring a Legal Intern in the Conduct of Business department in Brussels. The role involves monitoring EU policy developments, supporting advocacy efforts and contributing to policy analysis and drafting tasks related to insurance conduct of business topics.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor EU policy developments and support advocacy on topics such as insurance distribution, digitalisation, insurance contract law and competition issues.
- Contribute to policy analysis, draft briefings and support position papers reflecting industry views.
- Support working groups and committees by preparing background notes, presentations and meeting reports.
Eligibility
- Education in Law, European Studies, European Law or related fields.
- Strong interest in EU affairs, financial services or international policy.
- Team spirit, responsibility and strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in English; knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
