Details of the Job/Internship
JRA Law Associates LLP is offering an on-site internship for a Legal Intern at their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in comprehensive research of case laws and legal precedents to support ongoing matters.
- Support attorneys in drafting various legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, and applications.
- Provide administrative and research support for both litigation and non-litigation files.
- Observe and assist in the preparation of legal strategies for complex disputes, including government cases.
- Collate and organize case files to ensure efficient document management for the litigation team.
- Participate in internal team discussions and brainstorming sessions for client solutions.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing a law degree: 2nd year of a 3-year LLB or 4th year of a 5-year LLB.
- Strong legal research skills with the ability to analyze complex case laws.
- Proficiency in basic legal drafting and document preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated interest in litigation, dispute resolution, and white-collar crime.
- Preferred: Prior experience in a litigation-focused internship is considered advantageous.
