Details of the Job/Internship

Kensara.ai is offering a part-time hybrid internship for law students or recent graduates based in Guwahati.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized legal research on DPDPA rules, central government notifications, and global privacy benchmarks (GDPR/CCPA).
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documentation, including Privacy Policies, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and Consent Notices.
• Support the execution of compliance audits for SaaS and fintech clients to identify data protection gaps.
• Help prepare frameworks for Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and data fiduciary obligations.
• Participate in legal consultations and document the specific regulatory demands of diverse industries.
• Address general legal and administrative issues relevant to Kensara.ai’s internal startup operations.
• Manage tasks independently in a hybrid setup, ensuring high attention to detail in all regulatory filings.

Eligibility

• Education: Currently enrolled in or completed a recognized law program (LL.B./LL.M.).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of Indian law, with a specific interest or proficiency in the DPDPA.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a sharp eye for detail in legal document preparation.
• Competencies: Ability to handle "Legal Consulting" tasks and resolve ambiguities in emerging technology laws.
• Location: Must be based in or near Guwahati to support the hybrid nature of the role.
