Details of the Job/Internship

LegalPay is hiring a Legal Intern for a 3-month hybrid role in New Delhi, with immediate joiners preferred.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting notices, agreements, commercial contracts, and pleadings.
• Support case filings in commercial courts, 138 NI Act matters, and recovery suits.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case notes and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients for updates, clarifications, and follow-ups.
• Prepare internal reports, trackers, and case summaries.
• Draft responses, applications, and supporting documents for ongoing disputes.
• Liaise with external counsels and ensure timely filings and compliance.
• Contribute to improving legal operations and dispute resolution processes.

Eligibility

• Law students in their 4th/5th year (BALLB) or 2nd/3rd year (LLB).
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional client approach.
• Prior exposure to litigation or commercial matters is an advantage.
