Details of the Job/Internship
Nayadarshan Associates is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office in Bhubaneswar. The role involves assisting with legal research, drafting legal documents, and analysing case files. It also includes supporting attorneys in preparing for litigation, reviewing legal issues, communicating with clients, and working on matters related to corporate law, insolvency proceedings, taxation, and intellectual property.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and assist in drafting legal documents.
- Analyse case files and review legal issues.
- Support attorneys in litigation preparation.
- Maintain communication with clients.
- Assist in matters involving corporate law, insolvency, taxation, and intellectual property.
Eligibility
- Foundational knowledge in law, including Corporate Law, Taxation, Intellectual Property Law, and Insolvency proceedings.
- Basic skills in legal consulting and analysis of legal issues.
- Familiarity with legal document preparation and review.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct detailed legal research and interpret complex regulations.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Enrollment in or completion of an LLB or equivalent degree.
- Prior internship or experience in a legal firm is an advantage.
