Details of the Job/Internship
Nextyn is hiring a Legal & Compliance Intern to support document reviews and compliance checks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing legal documents, agreements, and internal policies for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct compliance checks in line with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Review and analyse transcripts, communication data, and product-related content for legal or compliance risks.
- Support drafting and updating of legal templates, disclaimers, terms and conditions, and SOPs.
- Maintain organised documentation and ensure effective version control.
- Research regulatory frameworks, risk areas, data privacy guidelines, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of reviews.
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal and Compliance team.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed LLB, BLS LLB, BA LLB, or an equivalent law degree.
- Strong command of English with excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify legal and compliance risks.
- Basic understanding of contracts, confidentiality, compliance, and data privacy norms.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Strong research skills and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working with digital tools, transcription platforms, and document management systems.
