Details of the Job/Internship

Officebanao is hiring a Legal Intern with experience of to join their office in Gurugram. The role involves conducting legal research on cases, statutes, precedents, and related legal topics, drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, motions, demand letters, and mediation statements, assisting with case management including preparation of case files and documentation for court proceedings, attending court hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings, performing clerical tasks such as filing and copying, collaborating with cross-functional teams on legal projects, utilising legal analytics software to interpret data for strategic decisions, engaging in continuous learning on legal technology advancements, and mentoring junior interns on research and document preparation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on cases, statutes, precedents, and other topics.
• Draft and review contracts, briefs, motions, demand letters, and mediation statements.
• Assist in case management and preparation of case files for proceedings.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Perform clerical tasks including filing and documentation support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal initiatives.
• Use legal analytics software to analyse data and support decision-making.
• Stay updated with legal technology developments through continuous learning.
• Mentor junior interns on research and document preparation.

Eligibility

Candidate must be in the final year and available for a 6-month internship.
