Details of the Job/Internship

OpenSphere is hiring a Legal Operations Intern to join its team on a remote basis from Bengaluru for a duration of 2–3 months. The role involves assisting with research, drafting and organisation of case materials for U.S. immigration filings, along with exposure to technology and AI tools used in legal operations. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time position. The start date is immediate or on a rolling basis, and the stipend is competitive based on experience and output.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in drafting client-facing documents such as recommendation letters, statements and case summaries.
• Conducting research on industries, achievements and evidence to support immigration petitions.
• Organising and structuring supporting documents, including publications, press coverage and awards.
• Supporting attorneys in preparing filings that are clear, complete and approval-ready.
• Exploring and testing AI-based workflows used for case preparation.
• Assisting with compliance checks, quality control of documents and case files.
• Supporting legal operations by maintaining accuracy, consistency and adherence to filing requirements.

Eligibility

• Law student in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year law programme, or final year of a 3-year LLB, or a recent graduate.
• Excellent research and writing abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in immigration law, global mobility or legal technology.
• Willingness to learn new tools and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
