Paradigm Confab is hiring a part-time Legal Intern for its South Dum-Dum office. The internship involves conducting legal and regulatory research, assisting in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, preparing compliance notes, due diligence checklists, and client advisories.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and regulatory research on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and structuring commercial agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and business contracts.
- Prepare summaries, compliance notes, and advisory briefs for clients.
- Support preparation of due diligence checklists and review business documentation.
- Analyze commercial disputes and business risks from a legal perspective.
- Maintain detailed records of client communications and project documentation.
- Draft client advisories, opinion notes, and reports under supervision.
- Stay updated with changes in corporate and commercial law affecting client operations.
Eligibility
- Available for a part-time internship starting between 11th Oct 2025 and 15th Nov 2025.
- Commitment to a 6-month internship.
- Based in Kolkata.
- Relevant skills in consulting, research, MS-Excel, MS-Word, typing, and effective communication.
- Prior experience or coursework in corporate law, contract drafting, or business advisory preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial documentation and basic understanding of business operations, startups, or real estate transactions.
- Interest in corporate governance, compliance, and risk advisory.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain professionalism.
