Details of the Job/Internship

Pawmax is hiring a Legal Intern to support its legal and compliance functions in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on corporate, startup, and technology laws.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents.
• Support intellectual property work, including trademark searches and filings.
• Prepare and review platform policies such as Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
• Maintain legal documentation and compliance records.
• Assist in regulatory filings, licenses, and approvals.
• Support documentation for investor and startup program applications.
• Track legal and regulatory developments.
• Prepare legal notes, briefs, and compliance checklists.
• Coordinate with internal teams for legal processes.

Eligibility

• Detail-oriented and motivated individual.
• Interest in corporate law, IP, and startup compliance.
• Understanding of Companies Act, Contract Law, IT Act, and e-commerce regulations.
• Ability to conduct research and manage documentation.
