Incepted in 2015 by Dr. Deepanshu Goyal, Vitul Goyal, and Sahil Goyal, PrepLadder was initially built to help medical students crack the PG examination. The company was acquired by Unacademy in 2020. PrepLadder aims to provide quality education that is easily accessible to everyone. The platform caters to categories such as NEET PG, FMGE, and NEET SS, with close to two million sign-ups. Details of the Job/Internship

PrepLadder is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office in Chandigarh (IT Park) for a 6-month internship.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing, drafting, and organizing legal documents and contracts related to regulatory compliance and relevant to the company’s business.
• Research and analyze laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements in the ed-tech industry.
• Help monitor changes in laws and regulations that could affect the company’s operations.
• Support the legal team in conducting internal audits and compliance checks.
• Maintain compliance records and prepare reports as required.
• Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide support in coordinating with external legal counsel, when necessary.
• Help manage the company’s compliance databases and track regulatory deadlines.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with legal compliance frameworks and corporate law is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
