Details of the Job/Internship
PRM Legal is seeking Long Term Legal Interns with a strong interest in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law to join its team on an on-site basis in Mumbai. The intern will work closely with senior associates, advocates, and insolvency professionals on matters relating to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, commercial disputes, and corporate litigation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Companies Act, NCLT/NCLAT judgments, circulars, and RBI/SEBI regulations.
- Assist in drafting pleadings, applications, replies, and reports for proceedings before NCLT/NCLAT and other authorities.
- Support the team in preparing case summaries, timelines, claim verification notes, and due diligence reports.
- Review financial statements, ROC filings, and public records for insolvency-related matters.
- Organise case files, maintain documentation, and update tracking sheets for ongoing matters.
- Analyse corporate documents, including loan agreements, MoUs, board resolutions, and statutory records.
- Perform administrative and support tasks required for the smooth functioning of the legal team.
Eligibility
- Pursuing LLB / BA-LLB / BBA-LLB from a recognised university.
- Strong interest in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law, corporate law, and commercial litigation.
- Good research and drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work on-site, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments.
