Details of the Job/Internship
SaarthiRights is hiring a Legal Intern for a 2-month full-time remote internship.
Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze Indian Insurance and Banking statutes, IRDAI/RBI circulars, and regulatory guidelines.
- Convert statutory provisions into logical, rule-based frameworks.
- Identify mandatory timelines, conditions, and "rights triggers" within the law.
- Draft simplified explanations of compliance requirements for non-lawyers.
- Ensure all content has strict "statutory traceability" (linking back to specific laws).
- Support the development of a structured legal knowledge system for the tech platform.
Eligibility
- Final-year law students or recent graduates (LLB / LLM).
- Specialization/Interest: Must demonstrate focus in Insurance Law, Banking Regulations, or Consumer Protection.
- Strong skills in statutory interpretation and legal research.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, startup environment.
- Interest in the intersection of law, technology, and social impact.
