Details of the Job/Internship
Sharp & Stellar is hiring a full-time paid Legal Intern to join their office in Bengaluru. The internship offers hands-on experience in legal practice, specialising in Indian tax, regulatory, and business matters. The role provides exposure to legal research, documentation, and client advisory.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
- Draft legal opinions and responses to regulatory notices.
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex legal matters.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance.
- Perform legal due diligence of clients.
- Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and challenges.
- Engage in training sessions to enhance legal proficiency.
Eligibility
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent legal education.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Indian commercial, business, tax laws, and regulatory framework.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Legal research skills and familiarity with legal databases.
