Details of the Job/Internship

Treelife is hiring a Legal Intern for a minimum period of 3 months to join its office in BKC, Mumbai. The role offers a stipend of ₹5,000 per month and provides hands-on exposure to M&A, PE/VC transactions, and related legal matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis, especially on M&A, PE/VC transactions, and disputes.
• Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents such as contracts and briefs.
• Attend client meetings and prepare notes.
• Handle administrative tasks, including filing and organizing documents.
• Assist in investment transactions for startups and investors, including drafting, vetting, and negotiating transaction documents.
• Support compliance and legal functions.
• Work on matters related to company law, data protection, commercial contracts, foreign investments, acquisitions, and investment exits.

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in a law school.
• Available for a full-time, in-office internship.
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
