Details of the Job/Internship
Treelife is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office in BKC, Mumbai for a minimum tenure of 3 months. The internship is full-time and onsite, with a stipend of ₹5,000 per month.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of issues, especially related to M&A, PE/VC transactions, and disputes.
- Assist in drafting legal documents such as contracts and briefs.
- Attend client meetings and take notes.
- Perform administrative tasks like filing and organizing documents.
- Assist in investment transactions for startups and investors, including drafting, vetting, and negotiating transaction documents.
- Support compliance and legal functions.
- Assist on a variety of matters, including company law, data protection, commercial contracts, foreign investments, acquisitions, and investment exits.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a law school.
- The intern should be available for a full-time in-office internship.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solution-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
