Details of the Job/Internship

Verdad Legal is hiring a Legal Intern for a full-time physical or hybrid/virtual internship in Delhi from November to December 2025 (extendable based on performance). The intern will assist in legal research, drafting, case preparation, and court-related activities.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed legal research on ongoing matters and legal developments.
• Draft case summaries, legal opinions, and research-based write-ups.
• Visit courts with associates to observe and understand proceedings.
• Assist in preparation of case briefs, notices, and replies.
• Maintain and organize legal files, client records, and case documents.
• Support lawyers during client meetings, legal discussions, or office briefings.
• Assist with administrative and operational support in legal matters.
• Adhere to office timings: 9:45 AM for court days, 11:00 AM for office work, until 6:00 PM.
• Travel from office to court and back (as applicable).

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing 3rd to 5th year of LLB (5-year) or final year of 3-year LLB.
• Strong grasp of legal concepts and basic procedural law.
• Good command over English and legal drafting.
• Basic knowledge of legal databases and MS Office tools.
• Punctual, sincere, and willing to travel for court work when required.
• Preference for students residing in or around Paschim Vihar for ease of travel.
