Details of the Job/Internship
Vitto is inviting law students to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on regulatory requirements in FinTech, such as data privacy, AML/KYC compliance, and financial regulations.
- Analyze and summarize changes in relevant laws and their impact on the company’s operations.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.
- Support the creation of policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
- Help monitor compliance with financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, FCA, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation of filings and reports required by regulatory bodies.
- Aid in maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with internal governance standards.
- Work with product, engineering, and operations teams to address legal and compliance questions.
- Provide insights on risk mitigation strategies related to product development and market expansion.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in FinTech law and emerging technologies.
- Perform administrative tasks related to legal operations as required.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree (JD/LLB or equivalent).
- Strong interest in FinTech, financial regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with regulations such as GDPR, AML/KYC, or securities laws is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms.
