Details of the Job/Internship

Volody is inviting law students to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Software License Agreements, and more.
• Ensure contracts accurately reflect business terms, comply with legal requirements, and protect the company's interests.
• Monitor regulatory changes and legal developments relevant to the LegalTech and SaaS industries.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date legal records and manage legal document repositories.
• Develop and enhance internal processes for document management and contract lifecycle workflows.
• Collaborate with business units to facilitate transactions, resolve legal queries, and ensure contract compliance.
• Liaise with external legal advisors when required and manage ongoing relationships with external legal service providers.
• Proactively identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
• Provide legal insights and advice to management on contractual and regulatory matters.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or completed a Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of contract law and corporate legal practices.
• Experience or interest in LegalTech, SaaS, or commercial contracting is a plus.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Salary/Stipend
