Details of the Job/Internship

Votum is seeking a Legal Intern to contribute to legal research, drafting, and product development within the legal-tech domain. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case law, and precedents to support product features and client requirements.
• Review legal documents for compliance, accuracy, and risk assessment.
• Prepare legal briefs and case studies demonstrating the practical application of technology in legal workflows.
• Collaborate on knowledge management initiatives, including summarizing judgments, curating precedents, and annotating legal resources.
• Assist in business development tasks such as drafting proposals and preparing pitch decks.
• Contribute creative ideas for webinars, events, and professional engagement campaigns.

Eligibility

• Law student (3rd year or above in a 5-year course / final year of 3-year LL.B.) or recent law graduate.
• Strong research and drafting skills preferred, though not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Genuine interest in legal-tech, innovation, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
